The Drive Home V: Great American Family Road Trip
The Drive Home series is a collaboration between America’s Automotive Trust and the North American International Auto Show. The annual cross-country tour in vintage vehicles starts from alternating regions of the United States and finishes in Detroit in the days leading up to the world’s premier international auto show, NAIAS. Each tour is designed to showcase the importance of our automotive heritage and its relationship to the car culture of today.
“The Drive Home V: Great American Family Road Trip” will feature vintage station wagons recreating an epic cross-country family road trip. TDH V will leave from California with stops at many notable national parks and monuments before ending with a collector vehicle caravan down Woodward Avenue into Detroit. TDH V will kick-off the North American International Auto Show and the participating vehicles will remain on display as part of the heritage events under the new and expanded scope of the NAIAS.
